Plastic Bag Reduction Initiative

The Medfield Transfer Station and Recycling Committee is a supporter of the Medfield Plastic Bag Initiative.

At the 2019 Annual Town Meeting, Medfield passed Article 21, in support of a Plastic Bag Ban of single-use plastic bags at checkout. 

For more information, we have posted a flyer with information about the transition from using plastic bags.

We are asking merchants to post these flyers to encourage their customers to bring reusable bags with them when shopping.
