Capital Budget Committee

The Medfield Board of Selectmen annually appoint a Capital Budget Committee to review the capital requests from town departments. Capital Budget requests must be for items that over $5,000 in purchase price and a service life of more than one year. 

The Capital Budget Committee typically meets in January and February with all department heads that have requested items under the capital budget. Upon reviewing the budget the Capital Budget Committee fowards its recommendations to the Warrant Committee and the Board of Selectmen. The Capital Budget is a separate article on the Annual Town Meeting Warrant.
