April 2021 Night Time Sewer Work

Medfield DPW and contractors will be performing two scopes of work in April to continue to locate sources of infiltration and inflow into the Town's sanitary sewer system. The first phase will take place during daytime hours and include locating and flagging manholes. Weather permitting, the second phase of the work will include measuring flows in the sewer system during overnight hours (12 am to 6 am).

Monday, April 12, 2021: The Town's contractor Woodard & Curran and EST completed the first day of locating sewer manholes during daytime hours. 

Tuesday, April 13, 2021: Woodard & Curran and EST will continue work during daytime hours to locate manholes. 

Wednesday, April 14, 2021: Woodard & Curran, EST, and DPW employees will begin overnight flow monitoring at 11:45 pm on Wednesday night and work until 6 am on Thursday. The work will begin in the area of Route 109 and Hatters Hill Road and progress down to Spring Street, covering the area shown on Maps 3 and 4. Depending on time, work may continue onto North Meadows Road, Laurel Drive to Bridge Street, covering the area shown on Map 5.  

Tuesday, April 20, 2021: Woodard & Curran, EST, and DPW employees will continue overnight flow monitoring at 12 am on Tuesday and work until 6 am on Tuesday.

Wednesday, April 21, 2021: Woodard & Curran, EST, and DPW employees will continue overnight flow monitoring at 12 am on Wednesday and work until 6 am on Wednesday. Work will begin in the area of Flint Locke Lane and Lantern Lane then continue to Kenney Road, Pine Street, Lilac Lane, North Street, Black Pine Road, Causeway, Main Street, Tannery Road, and Oak Street.
