The Pfizer vaccine is available for anyone over the age of 12 who have had their primary series at least two months since their last booster or vaccination. The Moderna vaccine is available for anyone who is over the age of 18 and has completed a primary series and two months has passed since last vaccine.
Please bring insurance information, if available, and be prepared to stay 15 minutes after the vaccine has been administrated.
Updated (Bivalent) Booster Information
The virus that causes COVID-19 has changed over time. The different versions of the virus that have developed over time are called variants. Two COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers, Pfizer and Moderna, have developed updated (bivalent) COVID-19 boosters.
The updated (bivalent) boosters are called “bivalent” because they protect against both the original virus that causes COVID-19 and the Omicron variant BA.4 and BA.5.
Previous boosters are called “monovalent” because they were designed to protect against the original virus that causes COVID-19. They also provide some protection against Omicron, but not as much as the updated (bivalent) boosters.
Please visit the CDC's website for references on staying up to date on your booster.
