The Board of Selectmen Name Change Committee is seeking community input through this one-question survey which asks: "Should the name of Medfield's governing board be changed to 'Select Board'?" The survey can be found at www.tiny.cc/medfieldncsurvey, it closes on Nov. 1, and the advisory committee will make a recommendation to the BOS in November. A Community Forum will be held on Oct. 27 at 8 p.m. via Zoom to discuss the possible change.
If you would like another way to participate, you can mail a note (it doesn't have to be this form) without a return address (if you'd like to be anonymous) to the Office of the Selectmen/Town Administrator, Town Hall, 459 Main Street, OR you can drop it off in the drop-box behind Town Hall.
The question is: How do you feel about changing the current name of the Board of Selectmen to the "Select Board"? Answers are: In favor (I support the name change), Neutral (I have no opinion either way), Opposed (I am opposed to the name change). Also feel free to include any additional feedback or comments.
