Overview
The Medfield Department of Public Works manages a secure, safe, and environmentally-friendly Transfer Facility, designed for the residents of Medfield to properly dispose of and recycle common household items and non-hazardous waste.

Services

The Medfield Transfer Station offers a variety of services to help residents responsibly dispose of and recycle household items. We encourage all residents to actively participate in environmental stewardship, as recycling and proper waste disposal play a vital role in reducing landfill waste.

• Non-hazardous household trash
• Food scraps (composting options available)

• Grass clippings, leaves, branches, and other green waste

Transfer Station Sticker Application

Access to the Transfer Station is restricted to vehicles displaying a valid sticker issued by the Town of Medfield. To apply online for a transfer station sticker, please click here.

• Sticker Placement: Stickers must be permanently affixed to the lower driver-side corner of the windshield.
• Non-Transferable: Stickers are non-transferable and must remain on the vehicle for which they were originally issued.

Stickers remain valid for two years, and the town operates on a cycle that starts in odd-numbered years. In the renewal year, stickers can be purchased starting in May, ahead of the June 30th expiration of the previous cycle. This gives residents two full months to obtain their new stickers for access to the transfer station.
