Transfer Station Sticker Information
A valid MTS Sticker is required to use the Medfield Transfer Station, located at 123 North Meadows Road. Stickers can be obtained in one of three ways:
- In-Person: Apply directly at the Town House.
- By Mail: Submit your application by mail to the Town House.
- Online: Apply via the online system.
Current stickers are Magenta Pink and expire June 30, 2027. If you have a yellow sticker it expired on June 30th 2025 and you will need to apply for the new sticker.
Sticker Validity:
Stickers are valid from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027. Sticker sales for the 2025-2027 cycle opened May 6th 2025. All residents are on the same sticker cycle, regardless of when you obtain your sticker. If you have already received your new magenta sticker, you may remove your yellow sticker and start using your new magenta sticker.
Application Requirements:
To apply for a sticker, you must provide a valid vehicle registration for the vehicle(s) you wish to permit, showing that the vehicle is garaged in Medfield. If you vehicle is not registered in town, a surcharge will apply.
New Residents:
If you’re new to Medfield, you will need to obtain your first sticker in person, as the online system does not automatically update after an address change with the RMV. Please ensure your car insurance is updated with your new garaged address and bring a copy of your updated insurance binder.

Online Application - Now Live!
You can now apply online for a MTS Sticker online! You will need to upload a copy of your registration and pay by credit card. Please allow for 5-7 business days to receive your sticker in the mail. (Please note new residents that changed there address with the RMV will not be able to register online and will need to visit the town hall Public Works office to receive a sticker.)
The Town utilizes Stripe for our online transactions and they charge the following convenience fees for:
Credit Card: 2.99% + 0.99¢
E-Check(AHC Payment): $2.25 flat
Mail in Application
Please mail in your application with a copy of all necessary vehicle registrations, insurance information if it is a leased vehicle, as well as a check made out to the Town of Medfield.
